English Schools Foundation has an interesting history as a group of 22 schools in Hong Kong. To say they are well known in Hong Kong would be an understatement. ESF is a household word, even with families that don’t have kids in school! It is one of the largest school groups in Asia and has some of the most famous schools in the city. King George V School is the oldest international school in Hong Kong, founded in 1894. Sha Tin College has one of the highest number of perfect 45 IB scores in the world. In fact, as a group, ESF had 22 perfect IB scores. Yes, you read that right – 22 perfect scores.
In 2019, we had the privilege of filming 8 ESF schools and are working our way through filming the remaining schools. We found a great group of students, teachers, administrators, and staff committed to education and building a strong school community.
