[PODCAST] Podcast on Private School Podcasting
Is your international school's marketing strategy struggling to speak to parents? Consider speaking to their experience like Mike Hatfield did.

Mike Hatfield has worn a number of hats on top of being a Director of Admissions at Powhatan School, a small k-8 school. His creativity pushed his school’s enrollment and retention marketing drastically.

SchoolHouse Summary: In an InspirED Sparkcast with Liza Fisher Norman, Mike discusses how a podcast he listened to helped him rethink how to speak to parents. The experience of a podcast was something that he imagined could reach parents in their own busy lives. He diversified the channels in which parents could interact with the school by adding the podcast on top of email, and delivered a product parents found valuable.

The impact deepened parent communication, authenticity and transparency and it all began with a question. “How do we communicate with parents and cut through the clutter? Podcasts seem to be a good idea because it’s convenient, and they can listen with they have time.”

What are ways your curiosity calls up creativity in your independent school marketing efforts?
